It's funny. I stumble on a photo that leads to another photo that leads me to this home featured inCalifornia Homes Magazine. It's mid century modern,which I love but there is something more that has me really captivated. Little details, like tufting, and tailoring, or curves you wouldn't expect to see. It's elegant, and balanced. Then I read on to learn that the homeowner, designer Matthew Leverone, splits his time between San Francisco, where this home resides, and Burgundy France. Of course! You kind of get that feeling that even though this place falls on the modern side of the spectrum, the inspiration for it comes from somewhere completely different.

Modern Muslim House With Unique Calligraphic Facade


As a Muslim, we must rightly orient our lives in this world just for Allah only. If we submit all to Allah, certainly we will be happy. For those of you who are the moslems, surely the islamic house is your dream and desire. Minimalist and Modern House Design for A Muslim


At the present, there are very lot of home design that follows the trend of the western. No exception for countries which are predominantly Muslim. The western is affecting all aspects of life, so easily seep into the western style of the eastern style, whereas eastern culture known more polite. It is appropriate that we as Muslims create our own creations and imagination without a trace or follow the creations of others, especially the creation of the west.

Here is the wonderful work from the Muslim architect from Indonesia, Gayuh Budi Utomo. He was created the minimalist and modern house design that is very perfect for a Muslim. When you see at the first glance to this house, you will feels wonder and awe. This muslim house looks very minimalist and wonderful, but very modern.


The interior of this minimalist and modern house is very modern and impressive. You can look the wonderful interior on the hall of second floor.


Viewed from the front, on the second floor we will see the unique part of this modern house design. There is the tile former that is used as the wall coverings that are resistant to the weather.

At the second floor when viewed from the facade, you will also find the concrete wall that looks slanted and oblique. This section is an implementation of the direction of qibla degree angle on the "Musholla" in the second floor space.


Above all, this modern Muslim house also has a bathroom that is not less good with a bathroom in luxury hotels though.

The Wonderful Home and House Design, the Sunrise House


The sunrise gives its own spirit in our lives. When it rises, we will immediately initiate a full range of activities with joy. the sunrise provides its own philosophy for everyone. And for the first time, an architect from Indonesia has designed a house that inspired of the "sunrise". Yes, the "sunrise" is become the idea of this unique residential homes. The house that looks unique and interesting is facing south, so that makes this Sunrise house divided by the orbit of the sun on a daily basis.



To realize the idea, the designer makes an opening reception to meet the terrace that serves as the initial activity of the sun in the morning. In addition, the designer also makes a refined protrudes forward as opposed to the right side in anticipation of the afternoon sun exposure.


The Sunrise house is a house belonging to a young family who give priority to preservation, so the dominance of the end of the house is concrete exposed print.


The bottom of this Sunrise house is a terrace which consists of two entrances, which is the family room is visible from the street, and room service which is covered with a closed roster terracota plant.


Gutter pipe as an aesthetic element that deliberately exposed it easier to care for homeowners. The yellow color and a distinctive accent of this house as splitting the right to meet the rising sun and the left side that responds to the afternoon sun. What an amazing house is it!.

Modern Minimalist Elegant Living Room Design


One of my dream homes design later is a home that has a living room is elegant and comfortable so as to make all family members and guests who are in it to feel happy and at ease when in the house. Like the living room attractive design of architect Gayuh below. The living room is not too narrow and not too wide it looked so charming and elegant, a combination of interior and furniture in the living room is perfect and able to create a very conducive atmosphere.

The Color choices seem alive and vibrant when added together. Living room area with a minimum space, but still comfortable in it by combining the color of the walls and furniture so that a proper balance between bright colors and basic colors. Yes, a home like this is what I dreamed when I was married and have families later.

Traditional and Modern Homes Design Combination "Pendopo House"


This modern and traditional homes design combination is called the "Pendopo House". This house is designed by creative Indonesian Architect, Gayuh Budi Utomo. This house has the traditional design in the exterior, yet when you look in the interior design of this house, you will see the wonderful and modern interior inside it. This modern traditional house design consists of two masses separated by the pool. The mass at the front serves as a living room, shaped like a pavilion and open-ended. Meanwhile behind the mass function for rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms, and service area.


The main building material is wood, because the location of the house to be near the forest area Trawas, so the wood in that area is very easy to obtain.

The walls of the master bedroom on one side overlooking the mountain was given the maximum aperture of glass doors, as well as the terrace beside the bedroom so they can enjoy the scenery when out of the bedroom. The presence of a fish pond that blends with a living room adds a natural and comfortable in this modern home.

This wonderful combination of traditional and modern Indonesian homes design is truly very modern and interesting.
